Refrigerator Compressor Failure Repair

Signs of a Failing Compressor

The compressor is the refrigerator's cooling engine, and a handful of specific symptoms point to trouble: the unit runs constantly and never cycles off, it cycles on and off far more often than normal, it makes a clicking, humming, or knocking noise near the back panel, or it fails to start at all. A start relay or run capacitor can produce nearly identical symptoms, so a technician tests the actual component before ordering a compressor.

Diagnosed by Certified Technicians

Formal certification plus hands-on training backs the 90-day parts-and-labor warranty on every refrigerator compressor failure repair, backed by our licensed and insured guarantee.
